Brewing Method: All Grain
Yeast: Nottingham
Yeast Starter: No
Batch Size: 5 U.S. Gallons
Original Gravity: 1.042
Final Gravity: 1.010
Alcohol Content: %
Total Grains: 10.38 lbs.
Color: 3.3
Extract Efficiency: 50 %
Hop IBU's: 32
Boiling Time: 75 min
Primary Fermentation: 13 days at 62°F
Secondary Fermentation: 21 days at 32°F
Additional Fermentation:

Grain Bill:

5 lbs. wheat malt
4 lbs. two-row malt
1 lb. flaked barley
6 oz. aromatic malt

Hop Bill:

0.375 oz. Amarillo (8.9%) 60 min
0.375 oz. Amarillo (8.9%) 30 min
1.0 oz. Tettnanger (4.5%) 10 min

Mash Schedule:

Infusion mash @ 149°F for 90 min. The efficiency is not a typo - was aiming for 1.052, for some reason I got real low.

Brewers Notes:

Being a big fan of both Amarillo and Tetttnanger hops, I thought I'd try and see how they go together in a wheat beer. They were made for each other! This was one of my best American wheat beers.
