Grain Bill:

6.6 pounds Muton and Fison Light ME Syrup
1 pound medium Crystal Malt
0.5 pounds Roasted Barley
4 large cans Apple Juice Frozen concentrate (No preservatives or Sugar added) - this is equivelent to 2 gallons of juice.

Hop Bill:

0.5 oz. Brewers Gold (8.7% alpha) - 60 minute boil
0.5 oz Saaz (3.9% alpha) - 5 minutes boil
0.75 oz Liberty - Dry hopped (0 minutes boil)

Mash Schedule:

Bring Crystal malt and roasted barley to a boil in about 1 gallon
water. Remove and sparge grains with pleanty of hot water. Add LME syrup and Brewers gold hops and boil 50 minutes. Add Saaz hops and 0.5 tsp Irish Moss and boil 10 minutes longer. Cool wort and add to fermenter. Add apple juice concentrate, Liberty hops, and yeast.

Brewers Notes:

I have found using Apple juice concentrate the best way to get a hint of apple flavor and aroma in a homebrew. Be sure to use concentrate with no preservatives or sugar added. This beer ferments out nice and dry with a hint of apple flavor. Very tasty
