This is essentially my version of an ESB. It is all extract and pretty damn
good!

7.5 lbs of Alexanders pale or amber malt.
.75 oz. of a 10% Alpha acid hop at boil for 50 minutes.
.25 cup of blackstrap molasses.
1 oz of Fuggles at 40 minutes
1 oz of Fuggles dry hop in primary

pitch with Batemans yeast or a preferable LONDON ALE YEAST

primary ferment for 5-7 days.
secondary one week.

If you can find English molasses it is better! I think it is called Treacle.
The American blackstrap takes a while to mellow. It took quite a while
for this beer to mellow to my taste.
