Additional Fermentation:

Grain Bill:

11.0 lbs Canadian 2 row
0.5 lb 90L Crystal
2 oz 300L Roasted Barley
6 oz 350L Chocolate
1.0 lb Rolled oats

Hop Bill:

1 oz Homegrown Nugget for 60 min
1 oz Fuggles for last 5 min

Mash Schedule:

Single infusion @ 157 for 60 min

Brewers Notes:

For last 15 min of boil, add 0.5 oz bitter curacao orange peel, zest of one lemon, and zest of two tangerines. Steep 2 vanilla beans (split lengthwise) after the boil for 15 min. Add 2 tsp almond extract prior to bottling. And because I couldn't detect any vanilla flavor, I also added 3 tbsp pure vanilla extract prior to bottling. Serve nitrogentated! This has been my favorite beer ever! AWESOMELY SMOOTH, AND CREAMY! The vanilla really brings out the cocoa flavor of the chocolate malt. BREW THIS BEER!
