I always let iodophor soak for at least 30 minutes and then I rinse it just to be sure. I use it only on glass and SS. Never over 120 degrees.

Only on polyethylene. I have found that idophor will soak into plastic fermenters; giving the beer an iodine flavor. t can be eliminated by the use of oxygen bleach (Purex powder, Clorox 2 )
